Unreliable Diagnostic from Fixxr

I booked a car repair through Fixxr, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. A mechanic was sent to diagnose a gear change issue with my vehicle. After a diagnostic test, I was advised that the clutch kit needed replacement. I trusted this professional recommendation and paid a deposit for the clutch kit replacement.

After the repair was done, the original problem (stiff gears) was still present, with no improvement at all. When I raised this with Fixxr, I was then told the issue might be with the gearbox, which means the initial diagnosis was wrong.

I feel completely let down, as I spent money on a repair that did not resolve the issue. I was not told upfront that the clutch replacement might not solve the problem, and I believe the mechanic misdiagnosed the root cause. This has wasted both my time and money.

I would not recommend Fixxr based on this experience, and I hope they take more accountability for poor diagnostics and the inconvenience caused to paying customers.
