This company is highly ********* and ************- be warned - do not use them

This company needs to be stopped from operating! I requested a quote to replace the thermostat on my Defy oven as I knew that this was the issue- I did not need an assessment to tell me that this was the reason for my oven not heating. I also made it very clear to the receptionist Charlene that the team should arrive with the thermostat part so that they could just replace it. I was informed that there would be a call out fee of R475- I was NOT informed that this did not include another fee of R675! The guys arrived late because they were not given a correct address by the company and they proceeded to totally dismantle my stove. Once the stove was in a pile on my kitchen counter they told me the total job would be R2135 broken down as follows: once off call out fee @ R495 plus R675 labour and R975 for the thermostat part (which I have subsequently purchased from Claremont Home Appliances for R119). I rejected the quote as I said it was too expensive and the technicians then DEMANDED that I pay them the R495 once off call out fee otherwise they would not put my stove back together again so that I could at least use the gas hob which is functional. I called the operations manager, Marawaan to discuss the situation but he was adamant that I must pay if I wanted them to reassemble the stove. He also called me a *****! I was so upset that I paid in cash and they put the stove back together and left.

I have subsequently purchased the replacement thermostat for R119 instead of R975 and will have to pay someone else to install it for me. I feel abused and angry and would like to ask people not to use this company of ******* and con artists.
