Ripoff Appliance Repair company

FIXXIT took 5 weeks to send me a quote for R7,979 to replace the motherboard on my DEFY fridge, plus R700 labour. I had already called DEFY the week before (as i could not get a response from FIXXIT) and they told me the same original part would cost R3413, but it was out of stock with no date for new stock arrival - and this took 5 minutes not 5 weeks sitting with a broken fridge

By now I had already bought another fridge and I asked FIXXIT to refund the R500 call out fee for wasting my time and not providing the service they promised. Which they have refused to do.

PS. And the small print on the quote said the part was out of stock
