***** by First Help towing service

On Friday 21 June I was in an accident. The first towing service to arrive was First Help. The drivers name apparently Bronwyn(Not so sure now). Bronwyn pretended to care and asked which insurance I was with. I told him Oakhurst. He then pretended to call "Oakhurst" and handed me the phone. The person who I spoke with pretending to be an Oakhurst consultant informed me that First Help was contracted to Oakhurst and that Oakhurst has authorized that my vehicle be towed to the nearest panel beaters Renew-It in Strydom Park. I dropped off my car with the driver and made my way home. The next week when speaking with my insurer Oakhurst, I was made aware that they had not given authorization to First Help to tow my vehicle and that they had no idea where my car was towed to. This is absolute ***** and I will be taking this matter further. I do not understand how First Help are still allowed on the roads. According to my insurance, this is a common problem with First Help and that there are a number of Oakhurst customers being conned into believing that First Help is authorized by Oakhurst. I expect First Help (First Group) to contact me to resolve this issue by waiving the storage and towing fees. I am absolutely disgusted with how First Help can allow this sort of behavior.
