FINWELL- A VERY ***** COMPANY!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

On the 16th February 2024, i received a call and was informed that as a homeowner i can get a consolidated loan against my property although i still have a bond. I told the guy i am interested but my credit record is bad. He said that irrespective i am guaranteed a loan and to pay an admin fee of R785.00. He sends me an OTP Debi- check on my cell and i further asked why i have to do this when i am not approved and he said i am approved. I believed him and approved it. Today i get a call and email from Annemarie van Deventer who told me about my credit report and so forth and she sent an email that they cannot assist with any loan...I was surprised as now I am receiving conflicting stories and she transferred me to a Jane Mashingo who was not helpful and sent me an email and said that they retendered a service of providing me with a credit report OF WHICH I DID NOT REQUEST AND ASK !!!and there is a once off payment fee of R785 is non-refundable. I requested the call recording as proof that i did not request a credit report and after calling them relentlessly, they send INCORRECT call recording of another client with all their personal and sensitive information on the call which is now a breach and in violation of the POPI act and will be forwarding the calls and email to the Information Regulator. I hereby demanding the cancellation of the Debi check as the consultant provided incorrect and misleading information.
