TERRIBLE SERVICE

FINES SA is just a moneymaking scheme with very little, to no, regard for its so-called clients.

I recently bought a car and struggled with registration as I was alerted that I have an Admin Mark. I then paid these fines on the 4th of November 2024, through FINES SA and immediately after payment, I called in to check if they would be able to get the Admin Mark lifted and one of their agents on the line said it would take about 72 hours for completion of the process. A week and 4 days later, I called them again querying about this, because we pay for convenience, after all… The agent on the line on this particular day said they had a backlog with the courts and that it would take an hour from the time of the call to get this Admin Mark removed. I asked for them to get back to me by COB on the status of the query.

Fast forward a weekend later, no contact, nothing. I had to contact them again, and at this point I was getting frustrated with the “convenience” I paid for as I am mostly tied up with work due to my role. After waiting and waiting, I decided to go to Gallows Hill Traffic Department where I got this Admin Mark removed within 30 minutes of my arrival there. Out of curiosity, I asked the officer that helped about a backlog on Admin Mark removal and he had no idea of what I was talking about. I cannot express how disappointed I am with FINES SA after their exorbitant service fees over “convenience.” If I had to advise anyone - do not use them! Rather pay for your fines through your local municipal fines portal - much cheaper and way easier to track.
