No benefit in using Fines SA, do it yourself

I would not recommend using this service. For my first time after it was recommended by someone I uses their service for a fine that was originally 1,500 they gave me a “discount” of 1.200. But I had already written to the traffic department to grant me a reduction to which they have me a 50% reduction. The mistake I had make was that I proceeded to pay on Fines SA website without first checking what the total fine should be as per the city of cape town website. When I raised this with them for a refund or cancellation all they could say is that once I pay its not with them to benefit from this or lose which this case is a benefit for them and loss for me. So my encouragement is there is no free lunch write to the traffic department yourself and you will get a better reduction. I regret using this service
