Fines SA : R600 fine vs Paycity R300 fine FOR THE SAME FINE

Received notification of a fine from Fines SA for R600. Paid the fine. I received notification for a fine from Pay City for R300.00. On investigation, I discovered that it was the same reference number. I emailed both companies for their response. Fines SA response : Our expertise, IP and processes in certain scenarios may result in a fine being either withdrawn or reduced. In other circumstances we pay the full price for the fine in order to get it resolved. Fines SA takes a holistic view on all fines paid and either benefits or loses out accordingly but our offer to our clients remain the same.
