Fines SA

After reviewing the fines paid by FinesSA to AARTO on my behalf, I noticed they overcharged me on two fines. According to AARTO, the amount due was R125 per fine, but FinesSA charged me R328, including a commission fee. Please note that their service is not free, as advertised on their website; they charge a percentage as a commission.

For the remaining fines, they paid the correct amounts, as confirmed on the AARTO website, where these fines are reflected as paid. I have submitted a request to FinesSA to dispute the overcharges and am currently awaiting their reply.

Additionally, for a fine issued by the Modimolle Municipality, I have paid FinesSA, and their website shows no outstanding balance. However, upon querying the status of this payment, I was informed that it could take 3–12 weeks to settle. Currently, there is no visible progress or status update on the FinesSA portal regarding the settlement of this fine.
