Hoax/Automated responses/Hidden cancellation

A hoax I agreed to a temporary subscription for $19.99. I began using the app and continued to check Apple for subscriptions so I could cancel. It never appeared as a subscription so I didn’t worry about it until I was charged a $39.99 fee. I asked for a cancellation and a refund of $20. Not only was this sneaky and somewhat *****ulent but during this time I got a new phone and the account wouldn’t work. I opened the app to learn and it continued to spin. I contacted support and continued to receive automated responses that told me they couldn’t refund my money but I still had access to my account. I continued to email and tell them the app wasn’t working and that I deserved at least a partial refund only to receive more automated responses stating that refunds weren’t available and I still had access to my account.
