Finbond ***-***
Good Day
My wife and I was on debt review since 2014, and Finbond was one of the accounts that we were paying off. Our debt review process completed in June 2019. Thereafter each month Finbond kept providing outstanding amounts which we then paid twice, one In August and also in October which is unprofessional because the account should have been settled in June already. My account was fully settled on the 16 Oct 2019, Which Finbond provided the paid up letter for this account on the 16th October and neglected to inform ITC(Experian) of the settlement since October. This is despite them issuing the settlement letter they have listed me owing an Mere R64. Which now delays the process of my credit update and caused a further delay of 21 days!! From the date of issue of the paid up letter is already over 30 days and now I have to wait a further 21 days which is ridiculous!! I have kept to my payments monthly and on time, and expected Finbond to do the same. To-date they have not fulfilled their obligations and to do the right thing to inform the credit bureaus of the settlement. I would like this account listed on my profile removed with immediate effect I will not wait for a further 21 days. As I have paid and kept to my obligation to this account. Finbond debt review manager received our emails and failed to respond until we called for an update. She informed us that the branch was supposed to give us a call which they only called us today. They were negligent in addressing this matter in a timely manner and Unprofessional with how they eventually contacted us. It is Frustrating and Infuriating because we had to contact the credit bureaus ourselves and follow up with Finbond. It's not Fair!!! I would appreciate it if finbond can remove this negative mark on my credit report immediately!!! 7 to 21 days will not cut be fair considering the time already spent waiting for the matter to be resolved! Kind regards Quinton Roux ( *******) ***
