********* Conduct and theft by Fight Club SA

I am shocked and appalled by the number of unresolved complaints relating to the ********* conduct by Fight Club SA which borders on *****. I have Comorbidities and I am heeding the guidance by the President of RSA, President Cyril Ramaphosa, to protect myself by not going to the gym including another gym that I am a member to as a way of protecting myself and minimizing my risk to COVID-19. The Fight Club SA discounted packages are meant to lure people into joining the club when you cancel that's when they bring up the fact that you were given a discounted package, this is a clear misrepresentation of what is on offer when one joins and *********. My 12 month contract has come to an end and Fight Club SA refuses to cancel my membership in order to recoup cost for the 3 months where the gym charged members R99 per month due to strict COVID-19 restrictions. How is an individual liable for business disruptions caused by a global pandemic?

Fight Club SA responses to my request are dismissive and arrogant. How is such a business allowed to operate in a free economy and democratic country without taking into consideration that the country is buckling under the immense impact of COVID-19. Fight club SA does not recognize consumer rights and does not uphold ethical business practice.

Its time perhaps for people to bring to light the ********* systemic conduct by this gym, the institution is supposed to contribute positively to my wellness and mental well being instead they are causing more strain to me.
