FIGHT CLUB SOUTH AFRICA - *********, EXTENDING CONTRACT WITHOUT CONSENT

Do not waste your time by signing up with Fight Club South Africa (FCSA), they are very unprofessional and *********. They now want to impose an extension of contracts to cover the lockdown months, the contract duration by law is from the date of inception to the agreed date of ending.

They need to stop *****ing people and understand that everyone was affected by COVID-19. They want to claim that their contract is for 12 payments and not 12 months and if you don't complete the 12 month "which they have extended" they can claim back the discount, what discount? making you pay more.

They had said August was going to be a pro rata month yet they debited a full amount. They are very dishonest.

If I don't want to renew my gym membership with you don't force. Even clause 15.2 of their own contract indicates that no changes can be made to the contract without both parties agreeing to the changes and signing . The gym is unhygienic , trainers are leaving and service is deteriorating and yet they still want to force us to stay..I mean a gym without a basic thing such as a toilet.

Everyone who is being bul**** by these people report them on the Consumer Goods Service Ombud (CGSO). You have every right to cancel your contract when the cancellation date is due. Make all the necessary noise and get legal advise if you have to.
