FIGHT CLUB SA ********* BUSINESS BEHAVIOUR- CHANGING CONTRACT CANCELLATION DATE AND CONTRACT TERMS AFTER BEING AFFECTED BY COVID-19

Don't sign up with these people they are ****** who will lie and change the contract terms just to force you to stay in their contract and take your money. The contract states that it’s a 12-month contract from the initial contract duration, which the definition by law is from the commencement date to the end date. Now they say the contract is for 12 payments??? I mean changing the contract terms to suit yourself.

Everyone has been affected by COVID-19 and your contract does not protect you against the lockdown. 12 months from commencement or start date MEANS JUST THAT! Stop trying to ***** people. You are being ********* and unconstitutional and not in line with the Consumer Protect Act. The law is there to protect us again companies like you!

When the contract has expired, let the consumer terminate the contract and not try and change it to suit your business needs. I don’t want to renew my contract, the fact that you were not able to provide a service during lockdown does not change the contract terms and frankly not my problem. You should have taken insurance to protect your business income, forcing people to stay and not wanting to terminate the contract when it due to terminate is ********* business behaviour. Recover your business ethically just like everyone else who was affected by COVID-19!!!

I urge everyone who is being **** to by these people to report them on the Consumer Goods Service Ombud (CGSO). You have every right to cancel your contract when the cancellation date is due, the fact that they were affected by COVID-19 and not able to operate does not affect you. You have a fixed term period and that you should not be forced to stay in beyond that, that’s why every contract has a start date, a contract period.
