Neverending Excuses and no fibre

Fibrehoods and it's installation agent DAC Security are worse than Telkom! I've had to drive the entire installation process for my home, with zero initiative being taken by them. I've had endless excuses, and multiple promises about technicians arriving have been broken.<br> <br> Like Telkom they seem to believe that the customer's function is to sit at home waiting for the technician for the entire day. Unlike Telkom they believe that you will do this for several days over a few weeks. Clearly, they don't believe their prospective customers have jobs.<br> <br> The whole process allegedly takes a couple weeks. We've been at it for 3 weeks now, and we're about 3/4 of the way through. The final straw was that after multiple visits, it seems that the installation is \broken\", and they have to come fix it. They want me to take another day off work to sit at home waiting for their ever-absent technicians.<br> <br> After I complained, they promised to have technicians at my house yesterday, the public holiday. Well, there I sat, at my house, the whole public holiday, and no sign of a technician.<br> <br> What excuse will they use this time? Rain? Forgot? Traffic? They've used so many, it's hard to guess."
