Unresponsive company

I was called to get a quote which i accepted but advised that I first want to see all in writing. When I received the written confirmation, it stated that I needed an alarm system linked to armed response which I advised upfront I did not have. I then wrote to them stating that if this was the case they should cancel. A couple of days later a lady called me back and said that she thinks this requirement may be waived and she would come back to me which she never did. I then sent an email to follow up and again no response. I now have been debited which makes me livid
