PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FGRO RED

I am truly horrified by the way this company don business and I can't believe that an institution like Discovery will use them as brokers, I will never use or recommend Fgro Red to anyone. I was contacted by a sales representative, and offered a chance at a lower insurance rate and also money back monthly if I move from my current insurer to Discovery. It sounded great, but at the end of the call he wanted my banking details to activate the policy and authorise the debit order. I then explained that I did not want to activate anything as I want an email with all the details we discussed so that I can do my home work and see if it is in fact a better option and also that I need to discuss it with my husband first before I can activate anything. He then proceeded to explain that he HAS to activate it in order to send me the policy to look at and discuss with my husband but assured me I can cancel it the next day if needed. I reluctantly agreed after being reassured multiple times that I can cancel anytime. After speaking to my husband we agreed to not switch from insurers at this moment in time. I have sent emails and WhatsApps and I have called to cancel the policy but it has been a week of the same story every time I call. No confirmation of cancellation as of yet and if I am looking at all the complaints here on Hello Peter it seems like I am not the only one. This is quite shocking and unacceptable.
