Title: Disappointing experience at Ferndale Textbooks

As an educator at a public school, I visited Ferndale Textbooks to donate and sell some textbooks, hoping to support students in need. However, the manager's condescending tone and loud comments about the condition of my books made me feel embarrassed and unwelcome.

I understand that not all books are in perfect condition, but I believe it's unacceptable to speak about customers' donations in such a dismissive manner. To add insult to injury, when I was ready to leave, the staff member who assisted me to get the textbooks from my car into the shop, couldn't help me take than back because the manager refused to let him help me carry them back to my car, despite the fact that I had over 15 heavy textbooks. This lack of courtesy and empathy was the final straw.

I left without donating or selling my books and will not be returning. I hope the Manager will be more considerate and respectful towards customers in the future. Perhaps a crash course on Customer Service will help her.

I would not recommend Ferndale Textbooks to anyone looking to sell or donate second-hand books.
