Worst Medical Aid!

Fedhealth does not pay for chronic medication despite the fact that I have repeatedly registered for the chronic benefit. They claim that I am registered however still do not pay for my medication. They required me to register my GP in order for me to receive unlimited consultations. In the meantime however they changed their policies and now claim that despite the R3000+ I contribute towards the fund they can not pay for consultations because savings are depleted (mainly because they refuse to pay for my chronic medication so they paid my chronic medication from my savings) - I only visited the GP twice since the beginning of this year! I now have to undergo a Gastroscopy which according to my benefit I am entitled to two per year, yet there is a co-payment of R4400 that I can not take from my MediVault (Wallet) because the procedure might prove that my condition is life threatening. In short, I'm paying more than R3000 per month to receive zero benefit from my medical aid. Since joining this medical aid in 2011 I have never been hospitalised and now after being a loyal customer receive this kind of treatment. Medical aid is supposed to provide peace of mind yet it now seems their aim is to induce more stress prior to a medical procedure!
