Worst medical aid!!!! Do not take cover with them!!

They are absolute *******. I joined Fedhealth in 2019 and my experience has been terrible to say the least. You pay a fortune every month and you are hardly covered for anything, I am paying almost R5000 every month to them. When I went into hospital to have my daughter they covered basically nothing!!! I pad R25000 for a caesarean cection upfront, Fedhealth only paid me back R5000!!! I cancelled my membership mid February for my last day to be 31st of March, they still debited my account 3rd of April (today) with the excuse being that because i changed my plan from Flexifed 1 to Flexifed 2 (which was 3.5 years ago) I am now in arrears by 1 month. This information was never disclosed to me. I even called to double check in the middle of March that they would not be debiting my account end of March for the monthly premium and they assured of me this, but that is not the case now. They have a habit of not disclosing information like this upfront. To add insult ton injury they don't have an actual accounts department, or as they put it their credit controllers don't take calls!! How do you operate business like this. How can your credit controllers not take calls from the customers. If you want to keep your sanity do not join Fedhealth. They will happily take your money and give you nothing but the worst service in return. Their lack of communication leaves a lot to be desired.
