WORSE MEDICAL AID!!!!

The WORSE medical aid around. End of 2018, We asked if we could upgrade our plan so our son could get braces, we were told yes, we paid increased premiums but time to authorize the quote, suddenly our plan doesn't cover braces. We lodged a complaint November 2019 to date, no feedback.

Asked again for a plan to cover our sons braces for 2020, we were told again, telephonically to increase our plan, what a joke!!. Our son has an appointment with an orthodontist on the 25th Feb at 2, his braces had better be approved or else this time I will bypass Fedhealth and lodge a formal complaint at the Minister of health office. And, I will make mention that companies should not force their employees to take 1 medical aid, employees should have a variety to choose from. We would DEFINITELY not choose fedhealth.

I have service providers, medical practitioners complaining about fedhealth saying they take up to 2 weeks to authorize members procedures. That is BAD.

I went to see a dentist last week, I have emailed 4 different email address last Friday to date, NO RESPONSE. NOTHING.

I need to see a specialist on the 2nd March for only a consultation but I will need 3 wisdoms extracted and root canal treatment on one at a later date but even the receptionist said I might have to pay a co payment for admission and Fedhealth is really bad at paying for all the codes and procedures.

What the heck are we paying almost R9000 for? This is ridiculous. That is absolutely bad service and a horrible reputation.
