Why wait 3 months???!!!

<p>I have been on a medical aid scheme my entire life. I never missed payments and I only had a fallout with discovery once, since I was a member. Regrettably I had to move away from Discovery due to their high costs and did the mistake of moving to FEDHealth. Now I am sitting with no medical aid for a 3 month period due to moving over from Discovery to Fedhealth. My history indicates that for 33 years I have constantly been a member of a medical aid. Why must I go through this 3 month waiting period? Medical aids already take so much money from us. Murphys law that I had a stomach bug and a hole in my tooth in this 3 month waiting period, and FEDHEALTH just don’t care!!!!! THIS IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE TO ME. Please can someone tell me if I can go back to discovery and get my payments done to FEDHEALTH back? </p>
