My previous employer resigned me from the medical aid due to me leaving the company. My last payment was in Sept 2014 and my last month with my ex employer was October. I re-app**** due to my chronic medication. I sent through all the necessary documents as my husband was going to pay it as I planned on staying at home to study. everything was finalized and Fedhealth started to deduct every month. I queried the monthly payment as it was never amended. I resigned again as my bank acc went into a negative as the premium increased and we couldn't afford it anymore. I spoke to so many agents, even a team leader, but to this date nobody came back to me with a statement stating how they worked out the amount they paid out to me. based on my calculations with the amended installment they gave to me, only in March 2015. they paid me less /- R 1 000. I am highly disgusted with their service as they misrepresented themselves, they gave me medical aid cover, that wasn't supposed to happen (as I was unemployed) as based on the NCA, I couldnt afford the cover's monthly payments! I'm tired of phoning them and mailing them, this has been going on for 6 months....
