Unjustified handing over
<p>I resigned from Fedhealth with effect from end Jun 16. Since then I have been ignoring all correspondence from Fedhealth – <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">only</span></strong> because I thought it was now all irrelevant. I still receive newsletters and even notifications of next year's rates!</p> <p> </p> <p>On 8 Nov 16 I was clearing up my emails and, to my horror, and completely by chance, I came across a letter demand from Fedhealth from a couple of months back that had been unread (I have tons of unread unimportant emails.)</p> <p> </p> <p>I immediately tried phoning their customer service line, but I am currently living in England and it appears that I cannot phone an 086 number form here. So I wrote to them - also straight away - literally.</p> <p> </p> <p>I <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>apologised</strong></span> for the delay, but asked them to please confirm what the composition of the amount was. I said that if they could let me know those details, I will arrange payment straight away. Indeed, I offered twice in that email to pay it straight away.</p> <p> </p> <p>As is normal with Fedhealth, I receieved no reply. But then what they did in response is to hand me over. On 15 Nov I received a letter of demand from their lawyers. I wrote back to Fedhealth to say, "I wrote to you politely a week ago apologising for a genuine oversight, undertaking to pay and hoping to settle the matter quickly – and this is what I get in return??"</p> <p> </p> <p>Still no response but just a ton a harassing from VVM (their debt collectors) who add charges to the amount by the day & have listed me. I have spoken to them twice at enormous expense from England on my cell phone, but they refuse to liaise with Fedhealth. </p> <p> </p> <p>So, Fedhealth, I will NOT pay all these legal charges that would not have been incurred had you had the decency to respond to my email. I WILL pay any debt that I owe you - immediately that you tell me what it comprises PROVIDED you immeditely ensure that I am unlisted.</p> <p> </p> <p>I look forward to a professional response.</p> <p> </p>

I have received a response by email and, in usual Fedhealth fashion, you have ignored 100% of what I said in the complaint above.
I am not disputing there is a debt.
I am not disputing that i missed your letter of 8 Aug.
But the very same day that I discovered your letter i wrote to you and appologised for having missed it. I queried the amount - you have STILL not bothered to answer that.
It was UNJUSTIFIED to hand me over when i had this query and had undertaken to pay the moment you told me how the amount was made up.
So i try once again:
HOW IS THAT AMOUNT MADE UP??
If you satisfy me that it is justfied, I WILL PAY IT IMMEDIATELY.
I will NOT pay legal charges incurred as a result of you not answering my query.
Before i pay i need your assurance that you will unlist me.
I stayed loyal to your organisation for 26 years - through 8 employers that wanted me to be on Discovery - through all your turmoil as Fedsure - and you treat me like absolute *******, with the attitude of a big bully. I am trying to pay you and you are ignoring everything i am saying.
