Two-star rating for Fedhealth

Fedhealth is now one of the worst payers. They don't cover more than 100% of surgeons' fees. They joined up with Sanlam Reality for gap cover. However, as I was already over 60 years of age when this happened, I did not qualify to join Reality. That means that I was dropped like a hot potato! They also take very long to approve admission to hospital ,even if you entered through casualty, with a BROKEN back, which is a PMB case. The private hospital threatened to throw me back out on the street because Fedhealth took so long. I was in tears! Luckily it was approved the following day. This added more expenses to the account, that could have been avoided if they responded sooner!
