Thieving Lies

I've been waiting for an answer from the Fedhealth Team for over 13 days and have made numerous attempts to contact them, as they refuse to pay for a Rhesugam IM injection for my pregnant Fiance. She requires multiple Rhesugam IM injections as she has a negative blood group that can cause our baby to become anaemic and get an extreme version of jaundice when she is born.

I called and confirmed with their staff at the call centre that it would be paid for, and then transferred funds to the "medi-wallet" for this purpose as per the instructions that were given to me by their staff. ( I now need to make additional monthly instalments because of this) However, when I took the prescription to the pharmacy the claim was rejected as they stated that Rhesugam IM was excluded from the plan and that it's the same as if I would go to the pharmacy and ask for bio-plus.

Their staff are not well trained and very unprofessional in their conduct. I can't wait to see what else is exempt from their medical aid.

I believe the below statements made on their website to be false and would not recommend anyone to waste more than R42000 of their hard earned money a year on their products. I am unfortunate enough to have signed up for their services and going to make a change as soon as practicable.
