Suspended

My debit order did not come off on the last day of the month due to me changing my bank account details which i have mailed them but forgot to attach a copy of my ID, I did however make a Manual payment on the 2nd of April and the proof of payment was sent on the same day. <br> I encountered a problem when i wanted to use the Medical Aid and discovered it was suspended 6 days after i had made the payment, surely the suspension should have been lifted automatically after they received Proof of Payment?<br> Please explain why I had to call in to ask them to remove the suspension almost a week later ??
