Shocking Service!!!!

<p>Firstly I have been trying for many, many months to get Fedhealth to allow me to get cholesterol pills on chronic medication.... Despite two letters of metivation from my doctor, and despite my cholesterol levels rising at an alarming rate (am now almost 7 and should be below 5 for a 68 year old ex-smoker) - Fedhealth 'declined' and said I didn't meet their 'formula'.... Oh what an excuse!! Would they rather pau for a stroke victim or a by-pass patient????? (which is exactly what happened to my friend. Secondly, my husband has cancer and is under Fedhealth Oncology. He HAS to take a pill called Uromax to keep him alive basically. We do understand that thousands of men around SA take this pill for whatever reason, but when it comes to oncology and my husband cannot function without the pill - surely to goodness it should be on chronic in his situation. Having just been hit with a massive 12.5% increase for next year - we are sick to death ****erally!!!!) of paying R5000+ per month for what????? Please Fedhealth 'Family" - look after your 'family' and please can someone with a bit of sense see that prevention is better than cure????? I just cannot believe they won't pay for a pill for me that will ultimately save them hundreds of thousands of rands in the longrun..... Can I have a reply (as this is my second posting)......</p>
