SHOCKED BY SERVICE

I have been on unpaid maternity leave in the last few months. I had app**** to UIF but not a cent was received from them to date. I knew however that I was due a payment for consulting work that I had done which would but the client refused to pay. Knowing that I was going to be in a very awkward financial spot, I took the initiative to contact the scheme and advise of my situation. Instead of the scheme acknowledging me and willing to discuss, I received a message advising that i had been thrown out. I have been with the scheme for approximately 10 years, recommending them to friends and family only to be tossed out with not even an ounce of sympathy of acknowledgement.
