<p>Good Day</p> <p>From the inception of joining Fedhealth, I had countless issues. First there was no waiting periods, then there was a 3 months waiting period imposed which I had to contest to be waivered. When documents are requested, It doesn't always come through. Even upon requesting to resign from the scheme, if the savings are used more than the montly allocation, the member must pay back without even getting an update of what the amount is!!!! The corrspondance from the scheme is pathetic. Currently my membership is still active. When I recently visited Dr Peer's practice in Kempton Park, I was informed that my savings was exhausted, I requested they use the GP visits that is paid out of OAL once the savings has been depleted. The person who assisted the recpetionist, from Fedhealth, said that it is pointless to nominate a GP as my membership will be terminated end of July. I called Fedhealth the next day as I should still have the benefit since I am still an exisiting member. The agent who assisted me informed me that I was correct & nominated Dr Enegelbrecht as my GP. </p> <p>I have been on Bonitas & the benefits & service was far more better. Medscheme is the administrator for both Fedhealth & Bonitas but Fedhealth needs major improvement especially when there are so many medical schemes available...</p>
