REFUND !!!!!!!!

I left Fedhealth Medical Aid end 2018 with funds still left in my savings account. When I contacted them in January 2019 I was told I get my refund after two months Today (27 March 2019) I contacted them and I was told SIX MONTHS !!! and they will not refund me personally and that the funds will be transferred to my new Medical Aid..... WHY ? WHO are they to decide where my funds go? They are to fast to take funds BUT when they owe you it's another STORY ALL I want is that MY OWN MONEY is transferred in my personal account NOT SIX MONTHS down the line.... I want it a.s.a.p.
