Reasons to not pay
I'm truly disappointed by your service. I had sent an email enquiring about why my claim was rejected which was not attended to till some days back. I had contacted you to check if you offer some form of mental health assistance. I was told I would need to be admitted in hospital to access that benefit as per the plan I'm on. I have a free GP visit once a year, which I then decided to use to consult my GP who would then assist me further, I was given medication to help with my depression. Now I'm told my claim has been rejected as mental health is not covered on the GP visit, do the details of why I visited my GP matter for this benefit to kick in? Would you rather I opted for hospitalization and you had to settle a high bill than just pay the R550 for the GP? I would understand it better if you paid the consultation and not the meds maybe.. So I have taken the decision to cancel with you as this feels like a ******* (trying to find reason not to pay).. What will happen if I have bigger claims in future, I cannot trust doing business with you any longer hence I decided to withdraw the money set to pay for the premium and will take it to go pay the doctor.
