R4000 a month to fight medical insurance

<p>I was hospitalised around 5 weeks ago. Having an "maxima Executive" scheme at the price of R4000 a month that has been put up from R3600 without any previous warning. FedhealthMed declined to pay anything. After a short fight, they sent an invoice with a list of what they would pay. Failing to include the emergency treatment and cost of hospital stay. I tried to explain but all I got was it is a hospital administration error. So what do I pay Fedhealth for. It has caused more stress than when I went in. Am I going to be landed with a huge bill because I won't pay. I have been expecting a phone call for the whole morning. Why treat your clients like this. They should be ashamed. There is enough stress in life without having the added stress of such an expensive health scheme!!!!</p>
