POOR SERVICE AND MONEY TAKERS

<p>When I was called by a consultant of Fedhealth promoting the medical scheme I explained in detail what my situation in with my husbands accident. I also told him that we are currently with Discovery Health and that all his expenses are being paid from a PMB scale. I also told him that I will only change if I had the surety that that will be the case with Fedhealth as well. He then told me 'yes mam, your husband will be listed on the PMD list'.</p> <p>So, we joined Fedhealth!!</p> <p>Now after numerous months my husband had to undergo a serious operation, an abcess moving into his brain fluid which is very serious - this is now due to the fact that he was shot in the face in 2009. All of this is still playing a role in our lifes.</p> <p>We are only to use contracted Drs. WHERE THERE IS NONE contracted with FEDHEALTH who can assist my husband. Long story short, HE WAS NEVER LISTED ON PMB as promised by the consultant. Now I have to pay all the medical bills.</p> <p>He needs to undergo plastic surgeory and again NO DR IN OUR AREA LISTED with FEDHEALTH. The closest one is in CBD who is listed with Fedhealth BUT, I need to pay R850.00 for consultation only! If a Dr is contracted with Fedhealth why should I pay the consultation upfront?</p> <p>I have been fighting with Fedhealth this past few weeks and are so disgusted with them I can explode.</p> <p> </p> <p>I WILL NOT REFER ANY OF MY FRIENDS NOR FAMILY TO FEDHEALTH.</p> <p> </p> <p>I really think I need to go back to Discovery where I NEVER had to fight so much (If I ever did).....</p> <p> </p>
