Poor Service
In October I informed the call centre that I will be going on pension with my last day of service being 31 Oct 2015 and wish to continue with Fedhealth Medical aid. I told them if there is a delay in the contributions from pension fund to please inform me so I can follow it up from my pension fund.I also asked if I can go onto a cheaper plan. The call centre suggested that I go onto Maxima Standard Net -Elect. I duly completed the change option online. I received a letter dated the 27 Nov2015 informing me of my change option. After reading the member guide informing me that I must use one of Fedhealth's Hospital Network. The closest hospital is 90 km away with no hospital in the capital of KZN. I sent an email on the 20th December informing Fedhealth to reverse my option back to Maxima Standard due to the fact that there are no hospitals in my town. I received an email back informing me to ask my employer to send a mail. Can Fedhealth not understand that I am a pensioner and I do not have an employer. Please can this be sorted out as no call centre agent seems interested in assisting me.
