Poor Customer Service taking members money without members consent
October '19 / November '19 I manually paid my monthly premium as my debit order lapsed ! FedHealth deducted the 'arrears' as well as there monthly premium the following month which was actually NOT arrears ! After numerous attempts to get them to refund the double deduction it was not paid back and was kept as a credit which NO-ONE came back to me and informed me of this arrangement
End January 2020 they deducted an additional amount of R316.00 on my monthly premium for the medivault option (which so by the way I haven't activated at all) ! Due to the extra amount my debit order failed once again because I only made provision for the premium I know which was due ! No email was received beforehand informing me that there will be an extra amount credit and what the reason will be for the extra deduction ! Only after my debit order failed I received an email which informed me that my debit order failed and then got the email about the extra deduction because of the medivault
I then once again paid my monthly premium manually but only paid my initial premium for I did not activate my medivault and informed the accounts department about my medivault not being activated yet
I received CONFIRMATION via email that they see I have not yet activated my medivault
True as hell, they deduct the extra R316.00 again this month together with "arrears" of R316.00 for last month ! I tried to sort this out on their life chat in the family room but the consultants are useless !
I've send them an email and the only response I got was a reference number for my query : Dear Sender This e-mail serves to confirm that we have received and are attending to your query. Your query number is: 030320QXW9W8
I gave them till today to refund me my money but no-one has even contacted me yet
