Policy terminated with Friday midnight email

For the last 2-3 weeks, my wife's been trying to have an amendment made on our medical aid policy.
She is principal member, I am dependent. We wanted to swap that around. THAT IS ALL.

Suddenly at Friday midnight, she gets an email stating that our medical aid has been terminated. No prior confirmation. No clarification. No correspondence regarding any process.
Policy termination? WE DID NOT REQUEST THIS.

We immediately try and call available numbers but we're told that policy services are closed over the weekend. So guess what? If anything happened to us over the weekend, we would not be covered and die.

Why send this information, without prior confirmation or request, on a Friday night?
It's either very calculated or very ***********. I'd like Fedhealth to say which one.

It is now Monday and after several calls we get through. The answer we get is \you don't pay". Uhmmm... we have a running debit order.

Let's see:
1) how long you respond to this
2) how long you reverse the termination
3) how long you take to actually assist us with our original request
4) what internal recourse will be taken on the INCOMPETENCE you have floating around there that puts people's lives at risk."""
