Planning to have a baby anytime in the future? STEER CLEAR OF FEDHEALTH

Besides nominated FP/GP visits not being covered, the major issue is their pregnancy program. It does not exist. We chose a gynae listed on their 'prescribed' list, accepted and vetted, yet we had to pay each and every visit which is supposed to be covered by the program. Almost R14K later, Fedhealth is still 'investigating'. An investigation that dates back to the beginning of 2018. ********** a manager of sorts, has been busy with our query for months. At least she tried, as their claims department is pitiful to say the least.
