Pay more for Less!!

<p>I have Joined Fedhealth membership early last year on the Maxima EntrySaver option considering the benifits of all options with a contribution of R1500.</p> <p>Back then the Life group was part of the network hospital list.</p> <p> </p> <p>In January I advised family also to join Fedhealth on the same option.</p> <p>After they inqured about joining they informed me that the Life Group was removed from their list on the option.</p> <p> </p> <p>To my shock I called the call center and they confirmed that it was indeed so.</p> <p> </p> <p>There was no clear notice of the removal of the Life Group benefit.</p> <p>I then enquired to upgrade then to a higher option that allows private hospital cover in my residential region and was hit with a "Sorry you missed the 06 January Deadline for Upgrades"</p> <p>After spending time on the phone trying to upgrade to a higher option and pleading with FedHealth on variouse emails that have not even been answered from two weeks ago I am real dissapointed in the scheme.</p> <p> </p> <p>Making it harder is that I have a reduced benefit and had a contribution increase from 01 January on the plan from R1500 to R1700.</p> <p> </p> <p>In Essence you pay more for less.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I am looking at another medical aid that can provide me with the same to better cover that I had previously but need to give a three month notice to get it canceled.</p> <p><br />For the next three months I am stuck on a medical aid that promised sunshine and roses but can only deliver state hospital cover.</p> <p> </p> <p>Disgusting service and I regret ever advising anyone to join.</p> <p> </p>
