Pathetic Fedhealth

Here I am again. Same problem, couple of years later!

MATERNITY BENEFITS 2019 I was pregnant with my first, long story short. My plan Flexi Fed 3 gives you 12 GP/midwife/ Gynaecologist visits. But let’s be crystal clear. It was a lie back then and still is.

2022 thus far I was paid out 2 visits. Not in full, not half maybe 1/4 of the amount. To give you an idea A midwife consultation 45min (no scan) R720 claim was declined. Another scan also with my midwife R550 30min (no scan) R128 was paid out. Multiple scans later, and thousands out of my pocket!

My gynaecologist appointment at 28weeks of R2800 was put on hold apparently I don’t have funds in my savings. Yes Dr RB MIA is not on your list of gynaecologist but yet in 2019 something was paid out. Around R500. This time round no amount for dr Mia. 2019 I had to fight, them it’s claim codes then this, then that. This time round exactly the same problem, they just have another excuse…. CLAIM ON HOLD!!!!

Hours on the phone, no help!

I will cancel my membership with fedhealth at the end of my pregnancy as this is by far the worst medical aid!!!!! Do not join fedhealth they make empty promises, pay put when they feel like ot, which is almost never !!!!
