Over the top requirements for cancellation

Good day, I need to cancel my medical aid and therefore have my wife take over as principal member (leaving our 2 children as dependents). The banking details for the debit order will remain the same. I called your office and I was told to simply fill out a form (which was emailed to me) and email it through and they will process this request. Thereafter I received a reply stating the incorrect form was filled out and I need to fill out a new form and send through my id document, stamped bank statements aswell as a letter from the bank authorising Fedhealth to deduct monthly premiums. Really? Is all this necessary considering I've been a member for years now. Why do I need to send through bank statements and a letter from the bank when the banking details remain the same. Please process my request or you can just cancel the policy completely
