Not much return on our investments at Fedhealth

We have been loyal members of Fedhealth for over 20 years, with few claims. Every year, Fedhealth pushes up their prices but delivers less. We are now paying a lot of money to them every month. Their motto used to be that they were Family who cares for Family. Not the case! I have been trying to sort out 2 claim issues regarding our son who had Testicular cancer. 1. One since October 2020 (Testosterone injection of R2 288.05) Urologist motivated this as being necessary for a young man who had to have 1 testis removed. 2. The other since Jan 2021. (co-payment for an endoscopy at the day hospital- of R4 600) There is no Doctor who carries out this procedure in his rooms in our city. Every time I send in a query, more information is requested and I am sent to another department- eg. claims management, hospital dept, authorizations, specialists, oncology . Nothing is resolved. I am seriously considering finding a medical aid who can serve our needs better.

Thank you Fedhealth, after my negative rating was given, we received a call from Mangaba, who was very friendly and helpful. However, the queries are still being investigated. We await an outcome.

We still have not had any resolution to the 2 queries sent on 10 March to Fedhealth.
The feedback given on 15 March, was that the queries were being escalated.
We have not heard anything since then!
