Nobody knows what calander month means in Fedhealth

<p>My wife sent a member termination form on the 9th May as per your request. Today she calls in to follow up on the progress of the termination. I need to put something into perspective here. I know we pay in arrears so payments for the end of June would be for the month of June as i understand. Today she was told that she has to pay for the memeber that she requested to come off in May, simple logic would be that on the 9th June that member will be off, therefore a reduced payment at the end of June. Now she was on the line for a long time arguing with a consultant who insisted that the notification takes 1 calender month beginning on the 1st of the month to the last day of a month so meaning, my wife sending that notification on the 9th of May was a waste of time because your representatives say the change will take place in June meaning she has to pay in full for June! For someone that no longer needs cover!!!? Doesnt a calander month have 30 days? Is the 9th May to 9th June not 30 days? THIS HAS TO BE FIXED BECAUSE SHE CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE THAT BENEFICIARY ON THE SCHEME AND WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO PAY THE FULL PREMIUM. SHE WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CANCEL THE WHOLE THING WITH EFFECT OF THE END OF THE MONTH. SOMEBODY GET BACK TO ME WITH A SOLUTION OR SHE IS CANCELLING!</p>
