Dear Mr Roodt,
With reference to your Hello Peter Complaint dated the 23rd of July 2018, I have attached the statement for services rendered in the month of June 2018. The claim for Dr Sujee (practice number ********** ) for services rendered on the 25th of June 2018 for patient Frans in the amount of R5 060.00. The claim was not paid due to the savings being used up.
Optical claims are payable from the Savings account and once the savings have been used up, it becomes the member’s responsibility.
The turnaround time for our emailed queries is 3 to 5 working days.
Should you require any further assistance, please

08 Feb 2019, 15:30This year Fedhealth informed me that unless i activated theire medivault i do not have any savings for this year, where in the past a certain amount was allocated to us each year. Now that has dissapeared now we are only paying the contributions without any savings, unless we activate the loan option. I'm fine with the current amount available to us on the savings for one year. But all of a sudden i'm paying contributions without any savings in addition to this lets say the amount available in the savings is, R 4000 my contribution R 3000 i'll only pay back the savings if it's part of the contribution in other words the same R 3000 i pay each month i'll accept the yearly medical aid increase like i do each year. But i won't do this R 3000 + 400 = R 3400 the R 400 for the amount of savings i used for example if we use another R 600 of my savings the next month i pay R 4000 toward my medical aid there is no way i'm doing that i'm paying my medical aid not taking out a loan.
