Network Hospitals Changed suddenly and I'm pregnant and can not change from doctor or Hospital or Medical Aid!!!!

<p>We are with Fedhealth since beginning of 2015, we were very happy at first. I am pregnant today 36 weeks, I have sent a request through for authorization for the hospital, and just found out that Fedhealth decided that the Hospital we are fami**** with changed. They changed network hospitals and I now have been told that there was a letter send out to notify the members in November 2016 - even then I was already 31 weeks pregnant, the consultant told me the notification was send out and if the member was unsatisfied that we can change from medical aids. I did not receive this email, even if I did how can we change from doctors and hospital when I'm already 31 weeks pregnant (in November) or even change medical aid - we all know that no medical aid takes pregnant woman and will fund the pregnancy. Now we are forced to change doctors AND hospitals or we must pay a huge co-payment, this is really disappointing, and really unfair. We are great Members according to me, we never ever missed a payment, and now we are treated like this. How can a medical aid do this to their members? I really request that we will be helped at the Hospital and that we will be charged at this hospital as a Network Hospital just because we are so far along pregnant and will not be able to change from Doctors and Hospitals or Medical aid. I have the confirmation also available between customer service at Fedhealth and myself to proof my point. Even November was too late for us to change from Doctors and Hospitals. Please Help!!!!</p>
