Network hospitals aren't aware they're on the netw

At 9pm last night my daughter was serverely ill with croup. After rushing her to Vergelegen medi clinic they stabalised her and began making perparations to transfer her to Stellenbosch Medi Clinic (A network hospital under the maxima entry zone policy). However the medi clinic group came back and said they would not transfer without a R5000.00 co-payment from us because Stellenbosch is not on the network list. They would rather send us to a hospital an hour away because Fedhealth isn't up to date<br> <br> This is a clear contradiction and misrepresentation to both the website and booklet I received. I phoned Fedhealth this morning (reference number 161115CFLXVW) to be heard by an indifferent consultant who assured me that there would no longer be a problem going forward. Who also promised to phone me back with her supervisor in the next hour - no response as of yet. <br> <br> I immediately phoned Stellenbosch- they still have no record of them being Fedhealth network hospitals. If my sickly child has another attack I will not be treated unless I pay R5000 up front, regardless of the contributions I make to my scheme monthly. <br> <br> Fedhealth are doing NOTHING to rectify my scary situati
