Moved to Plan where there is no private hospital in 300km radius??????

We were transferred from Topmed to Fedhealth in Aug and was assured we would enjoy the same benefits. We went to our GP to get referral for specialist, went for xrays etc and then the specialist app**** for auth on 29 NOVEMBER. Today, on the day before procedure, we eventually got feedback from Fedhealth to hear that the only private hospital in 300km radius is not on the Network and that there is a R19200 co-payment. When I phoned to enquire, I was also told that we should have gone through ICPS for authorisation which NO ONE during this 7 working days since auth request, informed us about. My complaint is that we were automatically put on a plan that does not have the same benefits as the previous medical aid. How can they move us to a plan that does not cover the only hospital in a 300km radius??????? I am also contacting the registrar in this regards. I was not informed about the financial implications.
