Money Hungry "Fedhealth" putting your health more at risk for financial gain

I paid my membership via eft every month and the medivault was a debit order. In April 2020, I emailed Fedhealth about covid relief, they rep**** : 1. R 848.33 paid by 30 April 2020; 2. R 848.33 paid by 31 May 2020 plus full contributions of current month; 3. R 848.33 paid by 30 June 2020 plus full contributions of current month; I was only paid 30% of my April salary and 0% for May 2020. I still paid R850 for those 2 months for the membership via eft and the full amount for the "medivault" debit order was paid. Thereafter every month was paid via eft in full for the membership as well as the full amount for the medivault via debit order. I paid Fedhealth my tax refund on the 15th August 2020 for the outstanding balance short paid for May & June 2020's membership fee's. Only once my entire tax refund was paid over to them was I told that my membership was terminated on the 30th April 2020!! I was refunded R1725!! According to MY calculations, the monthly membership fee of R2545 per month works out to a lot more than that. Not to mention the R425 medivault debit order that was never missed!! Now I must join another medical aid and wait 6 months + in order to go to the Doctor. I find this totally inhumane during such a difficult financial time, not to mention PANDEMIC!!! My son also joined Fedhealth in October 2020, he was then retrenched. He sent a cancellation letter on the 8th October 2020. The November 2020 debit order bounced due to insufficient funds, but Fedhealth are now saying because of that he needs to pay a THIRD MONTH???? Understandable to claim what is due, but to put people in more financial debt than what is needed is absolutely disgusting to say the LEAST!!
