Misleading information

I have been a member since 2009. I have since cancelled my membership. The description of benefits are misleading. Why would it say that I have a certain amount available for designated benefits, for example, optical, but cannot be used as it is subject to available savings? I spoke to a call centre agent on the 23rd of August 2017 and made the following statement: I spent R4000 a month, which in actual fact I can only use R8000 a year as ALL medical expenses are paid from my savings? She rep**** yes. Is it worth it to belong to a medical aid?
