Misleading advertising - Fedhealth

Fedhealth's marketing campaign is totally misleading and hiding the fact that they have simply reduced your comprehensive cover to a basic hospital plan where you get to pay all day-to-day, physical therapy, prescribed medication and blood tests (even obligatory ones while pregnant) - all while keeping your premium at the same level (the premium that previously included a generous savings facility).

The Savings / Wallet scheme is *******. My family is on one of their more expensive options and our monthly savings amount for three family members is R56. The Wallet is simply a loan that costs you R300 in admin fees, even though you "don't pay interest".

My extended family have all been loyal happy members of this scheme for many years. My father is an independent broker and we have referred numerous people to this scheme. Sadly - within a year of introducing the new scheme, all my family members have left Fedhealth for other service providers.
